Arnold - About us
Leo's Children's Nursery in Arnold has been operating since 1990 and is currently registered to take 56 children. We are lucky enough to have the space for four separate learning and play environments which are categorised by both age and development stage. All rooms are led by a well-experienced nursery nurse, and supported by a dedicated and experienced team. Each child is assigned a Key Person who supports their development throughout their time at Leo's, whatever age they start. Children are stimulated through a wide range of activities, as well as frequent visits to our large outdoor play area and trips around Arnold town centre.
Before your child starts at Leo's, we will arrange settling in visits. The first visit will be a short stay in the room whilst you meet with a member of staff to discuss your child's habits and preferences. The visits will then increase in length until your child has settled and is comfortable with the staff and the room. You are welcome to contact the nursery at any time to see how your child is throughout the day. On collection, the staff will speak to you about your child's day, however we welcome any questions you may have. Each of the rooms have a daily routine which incorporates, mealtimes, circle time, free play and sleeptime if required.
We offer a balanced diet in all of our meals and fruit and water is available in all rooms at all times. We can provide for special diets on request. Please see our sample menus for more detail.

Leo's Children's Nursery is inspected by Ofsted approximately every 3 years. All of our inspection reports are available to view on the Ofsted website.
